One Week of Content Ideas for Coaches

If you are a coach I think you’ll agree with me when I say:

Between coaching sessions, client management, and running your business, it can be REALLY HARD to find time for social media and content creation.

That’s why I compiled a week’s worth of content ideas that you can use for LinkedIn, TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, and more.

Day 1 & 2: Look at your two top-performing pieces of content and create two pieces of content on the same topic.

If you’re ever stuck on what to post about, look at those analytics. They are a direct reflection of what works specifically for YOUR audience. Go through your analytics and identify two of your top-performing pieces of content. Once you've identified these pieces, create two more pieces of content on the same topic. For example, if your top-performing content was about productivity hacks, create two more pieces on the same topic, such as "10 Productivity Habits Successful Coaches Swear By" or "How to Stay Focused When Working From Home." You already know this is a topic your audience likes, so take advantage of it!

Day 2 & 3: Find two reel trends you can put your spin on.

As a social media manager, some of the best-performing posts I’ve created for clients are when we hop on a reel trend. Spend some time on your Instagram Explore page, and see what trends you can do your spin on. An example of a trend going around is the social media is fake, here are some things I struggle with. People love authenticity and use this as an opportunity to get vulnerable and let your audience get to know you better.

Day 4: Create a meme from a CapCut template relevant to your niche.

Who doesn't love a good meme, right? As a social media manager, I live and breathe these CapCut templates. I regularly utilize these templates for clients! One of my favorite ways to use them is to make humor of a problem they are likely facing and then in the caption talk about how you can help people struggling with these problems. As a coach, this shows you understand your target audience’s pain points and demonstrates how you can help them.

Day 5: Why you might be (insert target audience's pain point).

Create a post addressing why your ideal client might be experiencing the pain point that brought them to you in the first place. Share examples of common mistakes or obstacles that your clients might be facing and give them tips on how to overcome them. For example, if you're a business coach, share why your clients might be struggling to scale their business and share tips on how to overcome these obstacles.

I hope you enjoyed these Ideas! Whether you're a health coach, life coach, career coach, etc these content ideas can be modified to suit any coaching niche. Use these for as many platforms as you want, just make sure to adhere to platform best practices when you do! If you're regularly pulling your hair out trying to come up with content ideas, or if you straight up hate it, you’re in the right place.
